Kelsi is sitting in my lap as I type, after standing by the bathroom door patiently for twenty minutes thinking I may be busy in there (no comment). I really dig this time where she just wants to be with me. I put my arms around her and type, and she'll pull stamps off the adhesive roll, apply them to checks for outgoing bills, pick up pens and fill in the empty space on previously mentioned checks. I'll occasionally ask her if she wants to go upstairs and cuddle with mommy for bed time, and her response is always, "no sir, daddy."
Tonight, though, I noticed that her brother is having an increasing influence upon her development. She picked up our staple remover, turned it inquisitively in her hands, before holding it like a make-shift raygun from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and ominously voicing the universal sound for a tazer...
