Kerry On, My Wayward Son (Episode 48)
Posted by Bryan

I've decided to chronicle The Ketchup Candidate's duplicity, deception, and miscreance (Episode 48 is arbitrary, but likely an understated estimate). I know that others are doing it more thoroughly, for other reasons, with other motives. I offer it here for my own resolution, and hopefully it will provide a firmer resolve for others of a like-mind to support our president and not allow Kerry's antics to go unchecked and unchallenged.

Thanks to Tony, I read about how Kerry smugly informed a US citizen it was "none of his business" when asked to which foreign officials the candidate had been communicating. Upon following the link, I read this all took place in Bethlehem, PA, where the eponymous steel mill closed down in October 2001. This mill was emblematic of Kerry's accusation:

In his remarks, Kerry said Pennsylvania has lost 154,000 manufacturing jobs since Bush took office. And he passed the microphone to hear from those who've suffered economic setbacks Kerry sought to blame on Bush.

It doesn't take much digging to see that the blame Kerry seeks to pin to Bush actually belongs elsewhere. According to this article from Money, the problems began in 1998, and were exacerbated by the September 11 terrorist attacks. The unfortunate end of the steel mill also was impacted by union and pension expenses, as well as by international trade imbalances. In fact, President Bush enacted tariffs on steel imports that President Clinton refused to enact, in an effort to spur the domestic steel industry.

This is just another instance in a long line where Kerry has made every effort to find anything going poorly in the United States and try to find a way to blame it on the President and his administration. Kerry's total lack of character, integrity, and ethics allow him an amazing freedom to not be burdened by truth, facts, nor morality.
