Inside every joke is the kernal of truth. Isn't that what is said?
If so, then what else can be determined from Kerry's submission of humor, offered when he fell for a prank. His self-revelatory hilarity:
The chaplain is right, and Kerry even says as much!
On a related note, John McCain (despite being turncoat-ish) offered the funniest joke of the group.

geeze...heaven forbid someone thinks independently and doesn't allow party affiliation to get in the way of the nation's best interests, eh? you're right, wanting a fair and truthful election makes one a turncoat...i get it now

For McCain to make the claim that Kerry is strong on defense, in light of the facts that clearly suggest otherwise, and under the shadow of the gossip that Kerry may name him as a running mate to help paint the Ketchup kid as more centrist than he really is, strongly suggests that McCain's motives may not be quite so noble as you'd like them to be.
