Prior to the major waste of time that was the tertiary installment of the Wachowski Bros. Pseudophilosophical Overindulgence®, we sat down for a family viewing of The Lion King 1 1/2.
This movie was wonderful!
The kids loved it, of course. Kelli and I laughed out loud several times. We we pleased with the originality of the concept, which means of course that Michael Eisner has no doubt already commissioned 1 1/2 episodes from everything from Lilo & Stitch to The Parent Trap, perhaps in a feeble effort to stave off the angry Disney Kin trying to catch his mouse-eared head in a trap.
If you haven't seen this movie, you should. Especially if you saw the first one. The second movie, Simba's Pride, is completely inconsequential, which even according to my seven-year-old, "isn't all that good."
If I have to choose between two third-episode DVDs to purchase, The Lion King beats Neo, hands paws down.
I wonder if Matrix 1 1/2: Rekindled would be any good?
