And while we're on the subject of Colorado sports, I just want to go on the record as saying I'm pleased the Denver Nuggets are making a rebound (rimshot), but I don't want them to make the playoffs. They can do no better than the 8th seed, and will lose in the first round to whoever is in first. And worse yet, their ascension back to respectability will be hindered by their exclusion from the draft. And equally unfortunate, if they do make the playoffs, everyone in the nation will laugh at their horrid baby-blue uniforms, rather than the regional crowd of mockers who scorn them for their lack of fashion as it is.
Kelli and I went to a few Nuggets games back in the day when we were dating. Back then it wasn't embarrassing to be a Nuggies fan, and those days are returning. Let's not mess things up by having just good enough of a year to not have a better year next year.
