Around the Horn I
Posted by Bryan

Here's the first installment of a well-intentioned project just to shine the light on good blogging:

Doug at Coffee Swirls shares a good Twain quote and accompanies it with a short personal disclosure.

Tony at I am Always Right knocks the latest John Kerry Halfwit Plan out of the park, putting him into a tie with Barry Bonds.

Ed at the Capn's Quarters has netted the winners from his latest caption contest.

The Evangelical Outpost challenges the media efforts to repeatedly ask President Bush the question that should only be answered with a similar question such as, "when did you stop making meth in your children's room?"

The Thinklings gang offers a trifecta of questions to be answered. My answers:
1. Jewish, but my opinion could be Roman.
2. Hey Ya or Kick Start My Heart
3. Friend Like Me

Christopher at WIT has blog tips more helpful than mine.

Jen at Jen Speaks shows what it means to be a friend and a neighbor.

Rusty at New Covenant discusses former President Carter's theological worldview.

Cam Edwards has a new gig.

American Digest reveals the racism of the left evidenced in their own race-baiting tactics.

Jared at True Pravda links to a stunning photoessay of a motorcycleride through the Chernobyl region. I saw this a few days ago and forgot to link then. It's depressingly impressive to observe mankinds's capability to destroy itself.

Irene shows by each of her most recent posts that she's willing to be one of the most transparent (in a good way) bloggers in the Christian corner of the blogosphere.

Darren at the Colorado Conservative reports early (but probably not too early) on Air America's impending demise.

Julie of the Lone Prairie has a Vijnic of a time putting together her porch swing.

LJ at Look both Ways offers tax relief.

La Shawn Barber is awesome. Just read anything she's written. You'll agree.

Donald at One Hand Clapping has a really good idea for the President's next press conference. Really.

Bill at Walloworld writes about Hellboy and Redemption. I haven't seen Hellboy, but I dig the post about it.

Jared at Exultate Justi references Colorado happenings -- Pete Coors' entry into Politics, and DU's Hockey Title. Good stuff.

Dr. Adrian convinced me to blogroll Jollyblogger.

Matt from Wheat and Chaff takes a hammering for being critical of Saddleback church, yet remains resolved.

Brett at New Paradigm continues to be real -- why isn't our life more like Noah, Moses, et al?

Ecumenical Insanity provides a look at the global impact of The Passion of the Christ

GASP!!! I went to Fluid Pudding and found her site.... unavailable.
