The Next Generation of Surreality TV
Posted by Bryan

I think that it can't be a good sign for a marriage when the husband of a woman scheduled for an Extreme Makeover, upon hearing the news, shouts out, "I'm gettin' an upgrade!"

Larry Holmes, former boxing great (emphasis on "former") has just signed up to the Reality TV slugfest. 10 guys battle it out for a chance to fight the AARP-bound ex-champ. At least he has his dignity, right?

I have come to a point in my Bachelor viewing (with my bride, I say in my own defense), that I am actually rooting for Jesse to pick Trish, because they deserve each other, and the other ladies (espite the lack of wisdom that actually led them to be on the program in the first place), don't deserve the inevitable misery that is sure to come with being hitched to Mr. Palmer. Oh, and kudos to my bride who, while on the way home for Kaylyn's softball game tonight (where the other team hit two home runs, one of which was an inside-the-infield grand salami -- it was that kind of game), she asked, "Is Jesse in trouble, now that the Giants have selected Eli Manning?"

My wife is awesome!

There's a couple different opinions on this issue regarding the backup Bachelor's future, since you asked, my dear.

I have a bit of a rant at my place about the mo-ronic Jesse. Don't know if you've seen that yet.
