Scrumptrulescent!
Posted by Bryan

As an anniversary gift, my wife bought me the SNL Best of Will Ferrell DVD.

It is, as "James Lipton" says of Charles Nelson Reilly's (as portrayed by Alec Baldwin) skills in Match Game '75, "so good no word exists to describe it, so I shall have to make one up.....scrumptrulescent."

Now, my mission is to use the word again today, both in Sunday school, as well as in casual conversation in front of Kelli, in hope of cracking her up.

That's a good skit, but nothing touches Behind the Music: Blue Oyster Cult for hilarity.

My sister has that DVD and I watched that skit several times in a row before moving on to the rest of the stuff.

More Cowbell!

While I've enjoyed the DVD, already watching it twice, I agree that Blue Oyster Cult is at the top of the program for a reason.

I actually think the particular "Inside the Actor's Studio" isn't one of the best choices. The one where he interviews Dustin Diamond is funnier. I also think the Spartan Cheerleaders at the chess match isn't as funny as the one when they're at the swim meet.

By way of update, I never did use scrumptrulescent at church, despite ample opportunities. I'll try to infuse it this week into the workplace vernacular.
