La Creme' De la Creme, only Opposite

Wizbang is celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Bonfire of the Vanities. To do so, he's holding a contest of the best of the worst, or the worst of the best of the worst, or something like that. To be considered for this dubious honor, my submission must be one of the 20 or so finalists.

Toward that end, I need help picking which of my previous submissions should be entered into the biggest bonfire of them all. I joined in week 12, and missed a few weeks here and there. From my entries, I have narrowed it down to these 18 choices for your consideration:

• Week 12: There she is, Ms. America. My maiden entry, from when I couldn't help myself from the real-time blog from the 2003 competition.


• Week 16: The Zit. This one has both TMI and a nice grossout factor.


• Week 19: The Flu Shot. Humor may be the best medicine, but I don't know that what I did cured anyone of anything.


• Week 23: Giving Blood. Squeezing every last drop of proverbial blood from the turnip that is personal stories about needles.


• Week 25: Two Words: Tony Dorsett


• Week 26: Ode to Battle of the Network Stars. I enjoyed this one. Nobody else did.


• Week 29: My first attempted meme. An idea so lame I wasn't even compelled to contribute.


• Week 32: The Quiz. AKA, the Quiz that endangered my marriage.


• Week 33: What's big, brown and sticky? A big brown stick's worth of punny tree humor. Ah, leaf me alone.


• Week 35: blaccent. I am the whitest person in the world.


• Week 37: Mail Enrichment. My first Two Sents kindling. Not to be confused with male enhancement.


• Week 38: Name that tune in the gay church. I tried to be discreet, and only ended up being so vague that nobody understood what I was talking about.


• Week 41: The Bachelor. On par with the Ms. America entry on the "I can't believe I just admitted that on my blog" quotient.


• Week 44: An innocent invitation. That just may put me on a neighborhood watch list.


• Week 45; The Friends Finale. The One Where Bryan Tries Way Too Hard.


• Week 47: What Color is Your Name. Oh, this one is sooooo stupid.


• Week 48: Duty Free. We just tried that Canadian syrup the other night...and it was salmonellacious.


• Week 50: Soprano story line ideas. This one should be whacked.

I don't really know what to tell you to look for...what just stunk the worst, or which you really enjoyed but that I *should be* embarrassed for even sharing. I'm not really good at selecting one from this, because like any proud parent, I love all my blogentry babies, no matter how ugly they happen to be. Please offer your suggestions in the comments!

Update: or should I say, DOH! After all this, I missed the deadline! I was so busy burning CDs for work that I totally spaced this...Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!
