    If you grab a set of sheets to put into the washer, make sure you didn’t also pick up a full, wet diaper and put it in the wash as well.

    Not a good idea.

Ew.

I don't kave kids, but I have an incontinent dog. In her defense, she's not really incontinent - she's old and I leave her trapped in the apartment for upwards of 12 hours a day with no way to relieve herself except on the carpet. Fortunately, she doesn't do that very often. But when she does, the clean up involves a lot of saturated towels (thank you Oxy-Clean! It really works) in washer. I'm always nervous about them overloading the machine.

Oh, and for sanitation - bleach, bleach, bleach. A little does the trick.
