Short Daddy alerted me to the Drudge Story that the Kerry girls were shocked to the less-than-hospitable welcome they received at the MTV VMAs where they attempted to garner support for their daddy, at one point having to "shush" the crowd's boos.

I had the TV on the channel at the time. But it was on mute.
Me: "Hm...looks like MTV is pandering to the Kerry vote."
Kelli: Who is that?
Me: John Kerry's daughters.
I also noticed that the Bush Twins (not to be confused with the Coors Twins) had "equal time" via satellite.
Me: Oh...that's a surprise. Bush gets equal time.
Kelli: Who is that?
Me: Bush's girls. Look at the blonde, you can tell who her daddy is. The brunette doesn't look like either of her folks, though.
So, apparently the presidential daughters aren't on my bride's radar whatsoever.
They're really not on mine either. Really.
Why do I feel Jethro Tull-defensive all of a sudden?
Oh, in honor of Outkasts' four VMAs, representin' Hotlanta, here's the reprised link to their Hey Ya set to Peanuts.
August 30, 2004 3:04 PMAhh, the kids absolutely love seeing the Peanuts video. Thanks for finding the link again!

I was always fascinated by the twins that would swing their upper torso to and fro.
Posted by: Christopher at August 30, 2004 7:58 PMThe Bush girls are prettier. Not that matters.
Christopher...I was concerned that you were talking about the Bush girls at first.
But then I made the connection
