Cotter's baptism
Posted by Bryan

I had the honor to baptize my son yesterday, his testimony of his faith in Jesus as Lord.

A group of 24 came to witness the event, including his kindergarten teacher, little league coaches, family friends, and dear friends from the church family. We are blessed indeed.

I asked Cotter, "Why do you want to be baptized today?"

He answered, in a loud voice to be heard over the wind and waves, "To show everyone here that Jesus is my Lord!"

And with that....

Cotter...buried with Christ in baptism....raised to walk in newness of life.*

If you are looking at these photos, and yourself have never experienced the forgiveness God through placing your faith in Jesus of Nazareth, God desires that you do. It's not about church, or religion...its about a relationship with the God who created you through the reconciliation of the Messiah. Please email me at bmcanallyAGHTgmailDAUGHTcom.

*And for the record...he was not crying in that last photo (I didn't add the 'not' in there originally, sorry!). He didn't close his eyes when he went under, and he was saying, "I'm freezing!"
