Define what you mean by "Annoying"
Posted by Bryan

An email I was just forced to send, by virtue of my having to be right about matters of the following subject:

It’s not that any of you are wrong, its just that you are less correct than me.

    From www.dictionary.com

    co·here ( P ) Pronunciation Key (k-hîr)
    v. co·hered, co·her·ing, co·heres
    v. intr.

    1. To stick or hold together in a mass that resists separation.
    2. To have internal elements or parts logically connected so that aesthetic consistency results: “The movie as a whole failed to cohere” (Robert Brustein).

    v. tr.

To cause to form a united, orderly, and aesthetically consistent whole.

    ad·here ( P ) Pronunciation Key (d-hîr)
    v. ad·hered, ad·her·ing, ad·heres
    v. intr.

    1. To stick fast by or as if by suction or glue.
    2. To remain devoted to or be in support of something: adhered to her beliefs.
    3. To carry out a plan, scheme, or operation without deviation: We will adhere to our plan.

    v. tr.

To cause to adhere; make stick.

If this causes you to dislike me, I don’t much blame you.

I was challenged about whether or not cohere was a word. Granted this was after three failed attempts to arrive at the word before successfully doing so.

Cohese Cohede Coherive Cohere.

and a reply email that said...

"Believe what you want, I'm going to stick with 'adhere.'"

Which goes to show, being right isn't always the most important thing, at least in lexicological matters.
