Super Bowl Disinfectant XII

Here is a still of a MasterCard advertisement that will run in this year's Super Bowl. Just a couple questions:

• Would these personalities share a table with Count Chocula? It seems to me like that's a bit risky, with him being a vampire, even if the dinner meats are served tar tar.


• I think its creepy that the stork and Charlie the Tuna are eating a ham, and don't at all seem bothered that there's a turkey on the table. In fact, it's like the stork is just rolling his eyes, as if to say, "Chef Boyardee, you crazy Italian!"


• Suspicions about the Morton Salt Girl's anorexia have been confirmed with this photograph


• Clearly, Mr. Peanuts hasn't been able to secure the restraining order against the Jolly Green Giant, who continues to "stalk" the poor legume.*


• Charlie looks a little nervous. Who can blame him with only one seat separating him from his most nefarious adversary, the Gorton's Fisherman?

It's no wonder these 30-second commercials cost 2.4 million apiece, when you hire this much talent for one single clip.

* (peas forgive me for such a corny pun, it's bean difficult to avoid. Lettuce continue)
