If you haven't seen the latest evidence that all things pure and beautiful have been corrupted, here you go...the new concept behind (and by "behind" I mean "what an asinine idea") the WB Varsity Toon team.

The year is 2772, and fresh off a trip to hell, all your favorite standards have been redrawn as victims of an anime' nightmare, wrapped up in spandex and looking like their sharp angles will cut you if you accidentally brush against them. Misunderstanding what "edgy" means, these homage creations promise to carry the same spirit as the originals, yet will inevitably only cause a poignant reminder to the axiom that it only takes one desk jockey in a suit to mess up an investment of decades. Invariably, he'll be sipping on a New Coke as he views the premiere episodes.
