I've been a bit busy lately, and have neglected to mention that two weeks ago, my pastor and his bride have welcomed their first child, a son they've named Jake, to the family.
Cotter is quite excited that "Little Jake" (as he's known in our home) was born 10 days after his own birthday. Kelsi hasn't commented that his birthday preceded her own by 2 days. This may be because, currently, this is Kelsi Girl's world and we're all just living in it.
We're thrilled for the Perdue family, and Jake's arrival is the praise answer to many months of prayer.
