RTV Update

I've not checked in on the Reality programming I view from time to time....so because it's either do that or watch an episode of That 70s Show (although I'm laughing as it plays off stage left)....
- American Idol: Lindsay Cardinale is the latest to get the proverbial boot. Not that it was a big surprise. After her labored performance last week, the writing could not have been more plainly on the wall if she were King Belshazzar. Big Ol' Scott looked pretty winded after his trip down the stairs and back, so I have a hunch his fame clock is just about to wind down. Oh, and there's no shame in admitting that you, like I, agree with Simon like 94 percent of the time.
- Survivor: This is my first season watching this show. The hillbilly Cletus...James, I think his name is....yeah, he really needs to wear more clothes. I think that whoever wins the next challenge ought to receive the reward of giving Cletus an extra layer of britches. I don't know if I'm "rooting" for anyone so much as I'm enjoying the Kajagoogoo tribe beat the snokers out of the Oingo Boingo Tribe.
- The Apprentice: I'm not watching that closely. I have ceased caring. At best, it's an off-hand observation to see if a minority can make it through Trump's rigorous "interview process." Among the worst ideas on the horizon is the spin-off with Martha. I just think her situation is a little fragile, and a "Fire-Away CEO" has to come across as tough and harsh, which seems to be the opposite of what she should be trying to convey for the forseeable future.
- The Amazing Race: I confess, I am a proselyte. I have been converted, and I now am a fan of Rob and Amber. Face it, the dude just knows how to play the game. He's got the right amount of cockiness, without coming across nearly as overbearing as the cocky predecessors. They stand such a great chance because they seem to have everyone focusing on them, rather than the game itself. As long as they can withstand that, they can focus on the game and keep irritating and agitating until they're shaking Phil's hand on the final platform.
Okay, that's all I got. And Kelso's about to canoe down a dirt hill.
I hate to admit it, but about fifteen years ago, I was Kelso.
