Bryan, Texas

We've returned home. It is with great excitement that I share the news that I have accepted an invitation to serve as the minister of education and discipleship at First Baptist Church of Grapevine, Texas.don't mess with Texas

This process began several months ago with a phone call. There were interviews and visits. The church voted on me yesterday and with a 98% affirmation (there were 10 dissenting votes), we accepted the call to serve in this new capacity.

So with much joy, we're looking forward to starting this next chapter of ministry, and with great expectation that this next chapter will indeed be a long one. The church is awesome, the people are incredible, and the pastor is a godly man, with whom I share the same heartbeat for evangelism, ministry, and missions. God has heard the desires of my heart and has answered my prayers abundantly and far surpassing my hopes and expectations. I'm certain I'll be blogging more about this in the days and weeks to come.

Please do this for me (and all my family)...please pray that our home here in Georgia will sell quickly, and for full price. We would like to begin serving in Grapevine at the beginning of June, when school lets out, and we are asking God to take care of this largest contingency quickly to allow that to happen.

Congrats!!!! And welcome to Texas. I attend Houston's First Baptist.

I've been blurking for several months...probably close to a year. I also read some of your stuff in the Lifeway forum. I was a moderator for the "Believing God" Bible study forum.

I will be praying for you and your family.

Many congrats Bryan. I hope and pray the whole family is looking forward to this move. I know it can be a stressful time.

I hope you enjoyed your time in my home state of Georgia, and I look forward to seeing you again down the road.

Blessings my dear Brother.

Finally, you are in direct person to person ministry again. Not to say that your time in Georgia was not GOD ordained - but the church family at First Baptist Church of Grapevine Texas is about to get their socks blessed off.....literally! My prayers are with you and your precious family my friend, and I stand in joyous jealous jubilation (can you do that?) of what GOD is planning for you and GOD's people! BE BLESSED!
