You've Reached This Number in Error

Some cellular telephone companies are compiling a national cell phone 411 directory, likely to be used by telemarketers. The claim is that this is an "opt in" service and you have to request to be added. Only masochists and idiots would do this. The stronger possibility is that eventually the cell phone companies will sell this directory to telemarketers, who will then pester and annoy you.

But here's the kicker...because it's on your cell phone, it's on your dime.

So, why don't you instead just sign up at the national do not call registery and save yourself some headaches for the next five years?
