Today is Kaylyn's 8th birthday. Our first born has been a wonderful blessing to our lives. She was God's first gift to me as a daddy, giving me a little girl who brought me patience, understanding, compassion, and an appreciation for the softer side of life.
Kaylyn has been an exemplary child, and I'm so thankful for her. She teaches me lessons about the kindness of God as the Holy Spirit works through her as a child, a daughter, and a big sister. Her brother and sister are indeed blessed to have her leading the way.
For the only time in her life (lest she lives another 100 years) her special day is 053.
To celebrate this unusual designation, she's receiving an extra gift this year...555 nickels.
I love you Kaylyn Girl...you are an awesome joy!
