A Stinky Idea

This company offers a tooter muter. All I can say is that I wish I had one of these to give as a gift to the teenage boy sitting next to me on my last business flight home. He tried to let one by, and when its pungent odor paralyzed my nasal passages, I shot him an icy glare of "you didn't just get away with that and don't even think of doing it again." He tried to bury his attention into the book he was reading, but his malevolent methane molestor had overwhelmed folks in a four-row radius.

Read the product review...it's truly hilarious...although my bride would probably (accurately) qualify this by saying, "truly hilarious, if you are a boy."

How do you think Delta feels, advertising by proxy for this Stink Bomb protector? Is this inherently positive or negative for the cash-strapped airline, having its seats represented by the tell-tale upholstery? I prefer to think of my mass-transit seats as be flatulence free, and while this ad seems to promote a solid barrier between the floaters and the odor-absorbant cushions, I think the opposite is actually accomplished.

My suggestion is that if you are considering purchasing this, you may just want to look into some BeanO, Kaopectate, Gas-X, or some other product. You can buy a whole lot of these medicinal products for the $40 needed for the StinkSeat. And with the pills, you're not left carrying around a corrupted cushion at the end of the flight.
