Semantics: Dork, Loser, Geek
Posted by Bryan

I spent a little too much time investigating this site.

I bookmarked it so I could return there.

Not so much for a reference, but for reading pleasure.

I won't even tell you how much time I spent on the diagramming sentences pages.

When I was a freshman in college, I took a graduate level class on diagramming sentences. It was the most exciting "C" I had ever earned. In retrospect, I finally understand why I struggled making friends that first semester. I guess it was a few too many of those "Sorry, I can't go to the hockey match tonight...I have sentences to diagram!!" exclamations. Made...joyfully....with a grin.

I know you're mocking me right now. Just remember....

I did sentence diagramming in high school, and thought I was done with it. Then I took inductive Bible Study in college, and had to diagram sentences. For our final project, we had to diagram the entire book of 3 John.

Want a challenge? Diagram 3 John 10 from the KJV.

I totally loved diagramming sentences in 9th grade English.

Do you know that I have never diagrammed a sentence? I moved too often as a child that I missed when it was done in a particular grade. Then in college we never studied it, although I expected to in my Rhetoric and Grammar class. I was shocked that we never even talked about it.
