Cellular phone innovator Don Adams, aka Maxwell Smart, aka Agent 86, aka Inspector Gadget, got smart Sunday, dying at age 82 from a lung infection. Neither Dr. Claw nor Sigfried are suspected of foul play.

The television supersleuth has discovered the answer to life's big mystery. My prayer is that his find was joyous, and that he did not say of heaven, "Missed it by....that much."
