Bo & Luke Ain't Got Nuthin' On them McAnally Boys

YEEEEEEEEEE-HAW!

I'm just getting warmed up. Cotter and I are soon on our way to the Texas Motor Speedway to view today's O'Reilly Challenge. 300 Miles. 200 laps. All courtesy of a very fine family from our church who gave us today's tickets for Race Weekend.

This is our the first NASCAR event for either of us. Ever. Normally, I can't even watch it on television. But that's how I used to feel about golf, too.
I'm told they're much faster in real life.
The gates open in a half hour. And Cotter's still in bed. Clearly, we're amateurs. We still have to stop and get ear-plugs.

What can I say? We're just makin' our way the only way we know how, and that's just a little bit more than the law will allow. But the fact is, we're just good ol' boys... wouldn't change if we could. We're fightin' the system like a true modern day Robin Hood.

I just went to my first race last week, and I was floored. I had so much fun. It went a lot faster and was a lot better than on TV. I hope you and Cotter have a great time.
