I've enjoyed the fact that our church has welcomed Dan Liles to the staff as the new minister of music. He is a godly man with a wonderful family. I'll link to his bio as soon as we have it up at the church web site.
The coolest thing for me, at least in these busy, early days is that I get to hear him prepare for Sunday worship throughout the week. It's like an occasional concert...and from someone who can not only carry a tune, but do so as though it were no burden to do so (unlike myself, who despite loving to sing, cannot do so with any skill whatsoever).
