Award of Excellence
Posted by Bryan

You may remember my bragging, wholly appropriately I may add, about the Reflections accomplishments of my two eldest progeny.

Well well well well well well well....let me just say I have only just begun.

Yesterday, we attended the district awards assembly. Cotter received the "Thanks for Playing" "Honorable Mention" award. A pretty red ribbon that was nicer than any red ribbon I ever won.

Kaylyn, though, received an Award of Excellence, which means she placed first out of her peers in the 21 elementary schools in the district. She received a fancy medal emblazoned with an Ali Baba Genie Lamp that apparently connotes knowledge. She now goes on to the state competition, which...honestly...we have no idea what that means.

So proud of the padawans we are, mmmm. Embarrassed, undoubtedly, my wife is that I'm compelled to conclude in Yodaspeak this blog.

Their Reflections, for your reflections.
