• (X) Smoked a cigarette (long, long ago, before my brain was fully functioning)


• (X) Drank so much you threw up. (I never should have entered the annual NAMB editor eggnog chugging competition)

• (X) Been in love (upon further review, I've really only loved once, and still am wildly in it)


• (X) Been dumped (more than once, I'm sure)


• (X) Shoplifted (I was a little klepto as a child, ashamed to admit)

• (X) Quit your job! (I quit a magazine sales job over their content list)


• (X) Been in a fist fight (In college, I used to think I was a tough guy, and did a lot of stupid things in the name of frathernity pride. I was never a bully.)


• (X) Snuck out of your parent's house.(But we lived 7 miles out of town, so it was really no big deal).


• (X) Had feelings for someone who didn't have them back (Pam Dawber may have played a character from Boulder in Mork and Mindy, but she is no fan of fans from Colorado, I can tell you that much).


• (X) Been arrested - (only for curfew violation, thank goodness -- and it wasn't for sneaking out of my remotely located home.)

• (X) Lied to a friend (I'm sure it was only to protect, surely, and not harm)

• (X) Been lost (every week on visitation! Every street in DFW has three names.)

• ( ) Cried yourself to sleep? (not counting those painful nights after reading cease and desist orders from Mindy's attorneys)

• (X) Recently colored with crayons (I have 3 young kids, of course!)


• (X) Sang karaoke (I have a whole karaoke CD collection...just waiting for the right Sunday school party to break those out and lose all my newly-made friends)

• (X) Done something you told yourself you wouldn't (No...more....letters...to ...Pam...Dawber)


• (X) Made prank phone calls (although, confessionally, I never knew who prince albert was, or why he'd be in a can)


• (X) Laughed until some kind of beverage came out of your nose (a milk nasal flush is therapeutic, as well as cleansing)


• (X) Caught a snowflake on your tongue (but not since Al Gore warned me about our Republicans polluting the atmosphere. Man, is that guy credible)


• (X) Danced in the rain (if you could call what I do "dancing," then yes)


• (X) Written a letter to Santa Claus (although I'm beginning to suspect there's something not quite legitimate about him)

• (X) Watched the sun rise with someone you care about.

• (X) Gone roller-skating (everybody shoot the duck....now reverse skate!)

• Mother's name.. Georgina, now known almost exclusively as Gigi.


• What is your favorite drink...? (White Chocolate mocha, extra hot., but I like the new marble mocha macchiato)

• How much do you love your job? (I'm doing the job I was created to do! I wake up daily thankful for the new opportunities and challenges. Seriously.

• Favorite vacation spot... I don't have one...I like warm, and beach, and water. And also snow, and mountains.

• ( ) Ever steal any traffic signs. (No, but once received a street sign for Bryan Way as a birthday gift that I suspect was not custom made for me. And I once visited a home that had a sign labeled "P Street" next to the bathroom, which I thought was clever, in a larcenous way)

• Salad dressing... I'm a little instable with dressings right now...looking for a new flavor. You can count on me to vacillate between ranch and honey mustard, if it suddenly became important for you to do so.)

• Favorite number... 3, 7, and 37 (the only thing good about Shawn Alexanders's MVP Season)


• Favorite movie... I don't have a favorite...I find that even my "favorites" fade..I enjoyed watching the TV version of castaway tonight, although Kelli and I want more details from when he's rescued to the month later when he reunites with his Kelli.


• Favorite holiday... Easter, Resurrection Sunday


• Favorite food... a well-cooked T-Bone steak cooked medium.


• Favorite day of the week... Sunday


• Favorite brand of body soap? There are different brands? I like whatever Kelli buys me.


• Favorite TV show... Lost.

• Favorite smell... My children, after a shower and ready for bed.
