The following is really for those who are interested in the internal issues related to Southern Baptist polity, policy, and personalities. Anyone is welcome to read it, but what purpose that would serve, I'm not certain.
So, NAMB's trustees offered their report of findings (this is a 19-page pdf). The findings are interesting, to offer an understatement. The sum total of the assessment would be, and I paraphrase, "Aha! So the initial accusations were largely correct, despite the protestations."
Three executives have left over the situation -- despite not officially leaving over the situation -- and boss5 remains, for the time being. I hope that whatever happens brings healing and blessing, immediately.
I pray for my many friends there, serving faithfully to see God's Kingdom advance. And again, I thank God I'm in Texas, serving in local church ministry.
