"The only conscientious objecter to win the Congressional Medal of Honor during World War II" has died.
I offer my thanks to this patriot for his bravery and support to the United States of America who served without compromising his beliefs. He was one of the many who made this nation both free and great, perpetuating the liberties that have been the blessing of every subsequent generation, the desire of the world's oppressed, and the enemy of the world's tyrants. If only the emergent generation of conscientious objectors would be like Corporal Doss in the emphasis of conscience rather than objection.
