I remember #2, the Sports Illustrated story of Sidd Finch. I wanted it to be true, and was one of those who were bluffed. But then again, I wasn't yet even 13. You could have told me that our President at the time was a former B-list Hollywood movie star who had headlined with a monkey and I would have believed you.
