My grandmother died this morning, after a short fight with liver cancer. God was merciful; she never had significant pain at any point. She offers a simple testimony of a disdain for religion but faith that Jesus is the Son of God, and her Lord. I witnessed her account that her hope was placed solely in the work of the Christ on the cross, and by faith I believe she is in heaven because God has promised that noone who calls upon His name will be put to shame.
Please pray for my family as we mourn, and please pray for me to have and use an opportunity to share God's promise in the Christ with those who do not know Him as Lord.
