The Lone Star state has passed a law that allows travellers to zip along at a speed that will help ensure a break-neck rate.
I guess I'm okay with this, having recently driven approximately 4,000 miles in the past month (the vast majority of which was in the great state of Texas), due to my recent vacation and trip back to Colorado for my grandmother's memorial. However, I am not one of those guys who likes to go 1-to-4 miles over the speed limit. I like to go *exactly* the speed limit. So, I'm a little concerned that the inch-up to 80 only means that the 85 percent who were breaking the law earlier will continue to do so...only now they'll be pushing 85.
I like getting from point A to point B as quickly as the next guy...but I'm more concerned about getting there safely, and getting my precious cargo safely there as well.
Oh well...I guess I can't be totally awesome about every little thing, then there would be no mystery out there for the masses, eh?!?
