What began as a blog entry is now a soon-starting men's study at our church. Here's the promotional video:
The study is going to be excellent. We've recruited over a dozen men to write daily e-votionals that will take these 8 principles and apply them to 6 "spheres of relationship" -- God, family, church, work, community, and world. Each man will also meet weekly with a larger group to discuss these themes more in-depth, to encourage and empower them to walk the way of the warrior.
The day before the study, we're having a kick-off breakfast, where we welcome a third-degree black belt who will break some boards and cinderblocks and maybe even defeat a couple ninjas. Then he'll share an encouraging word about faith leading to action. Come be a part of it if you can!
