Up With Worship Tonight: Service with a Smile!
Posted by Bryan

I'm looking forward to tonight's session of Up With Worship. We'll be having a great conversation (covering chapters 14-35 - if that seems like a lot, just look at the book and you'll understand).

Among some of the topics we'll be covering:

  • What are some things that happen when a church loves itself more than God?

  • What are ways to experience God's nearness, and why is it important to to try new ways?

  • Would you ever use the word "intense" to describe your worship with God?

  • Why do you keep sitting in the same spot each week?

  • Who is responsible for a successful Sunday worship experience?

  • Is it possible to worship worship, and is that idolatry?

  • What are the essentials of a theology of worship?

I hope you can come be a part of the discussion. You don't have to have read the book to take part, and everyone is welcome. Just be at the church at 6:30, room 6215. If you cannot make it, I will post the audio soon. I'm a bit behind in getting the audio from last week's discussion online, because I have a few extra responsibilities this week, but I'll do my best to have them available soon.
