A church in Lubbock has died.
It will be buried.
And it will rise as a new creation.
America's landscape is littered with churches that are dead-but-living. At least this one was honest enough to wear the toe tag that fit it. I don't know how I feel about the pomp and circumstance celebrating the congregation's demise, but I hope the new group's efforts bear fruit.
