Forgetting there is a reason the nation was once called Greenland, scientists observe the thaw is rapidly advancing. In doing so, they reveal a prejudicial opinion in their analysis.
I'm not one to counter scientific claims. However, I think its entirely possible that from the perspective of locals who have tired of living in the permafrost may remember 2004-2005 as the time when their homeland's best melting happened.
Any comment from Greenlanders (Greenlandites?) is welcome.
