Today is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday in the Southern Baptist Convention. Churches around this great land are focusing on the gift of life that God has given and voluntarily committing anew to seek life-affirming options for all people, from the pre-born to the most aged.
I also want to take a moment to wish our Mammaw, Birdie Cotter, a happy and joy-filled 101st birthday. We visited her on Friday and it was such a joy to see her interact with our children. We are so thankful for her legacy of faith that has been passed down through the generations and continues in our own family.
God is good, and his love for all his children is manifest through the blessings of family.
