For Shame
Posted by Bryan

I've decided that the FOX program Moment of Truth is both the best and worst thing on television. I watch it and am grieved that this show is the harbinger of the death of shame in America. Yet, I exult when shameless greed is vanquished by the deep psycho-social revelation that even when a person is self-deceived to consider themselves amoral, their conscience reveals them to be merely immoral, and convicted by their offenses.

Case in point...Lauren Cleri last night tried to conspire with her future ex-husband to exchange the revelation of seemingly constant indiscretions for a big payday, only to caught lying when she answered (incorrectly) the question of "Do you think you are a good person?" with an affirmative reply.

That answer is....FALSE. And buh-bye to $100,000.

After the defeat, she and her husband revealed that her confessions were well known among the family, and that they would have split the winnings.

Now, it appears they will just split.
