A few weeks ago, a minister friend of mine and I were talking about how our different generations communicate.

News Flash: we're different from one another.

Case study: Max & Emily have firmed up their fifteen-year relationship with a Twitter-pated proposal and acceptance. Photo evidence to the right.

I don't know Max nor Emily. Their photos suggest that with a fifteen year relationship, they began courting at the age of 5 and certainly no older than 10.

When I decided that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Kelli as my bride, we were still living in the days before the Internet (which kinda makes my mind go jiggy just realizing that). So, in lieu of email, I went and talked to her dad and asked permission, planned an elaborate day-picnic excursion to the most scenic location I know, and proposed by inserting her ring into the Bible she gave to me as a gift when I became a Christian.

So now I'm digging up a picture or two from that special day....and I'll scan them in to share.
