Holy Father...As we remember Paul's instruction to pray for our national leaders; those who serve us now and those who will assume the mantle of leadership next year, may we acknowledge that our eternal citizenship is in heaven and that no one can rise to power without Your knowledge and permission. Lord, may we honor our citizenship on earth; participating in the political process with integrity, but more than that, may we honor our citizenship in heaven as we reflect the light of Christ in a dark world.
